1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BrainDrop ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BrainDrop is a browser-native personal knowledge graph that captures web content, auto-connects your knowledge, and enables AI-powered queries against your saved content. The service includes a web dashboard, Chrome extension, and API access.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API tokens
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one free account

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you save to BrainDrop. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service (generating embeddings, building your knowledge graph, and powering queries).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to store or distribute illegal content
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Abuse the API with excessive requests beyond reasonable use
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or data-mine the Service

6. Free and Paid Plans

BrainDrop offers a free tier with usage limits and a Pro tier with expanded capabilities. New users receive a 14-day unlimited trial. After the trial, free tier limits apply unless you upgrade to Pro.

  • 5 AI queries per day
  • Unlimited saves

Pro Plan ($9/month)

  • Unlimited AI queries
  • Advanced graph analytics
  • API access and export
  • Priority support

7. Payment and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; your access continues through the end of the billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion for the current billing period.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of BrainDrop is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard protections.

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance.

10. Intellectual Property

The BrainDrop service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by YouMeYou.AI. You may not use our trademarks without permission. Your saved content remains your intellectual property.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

BrainDrop is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
